Highland Heritage
Highland Heritage Press is an imprint of Academic Microforms Limited. It has been set up by Michael and Jane Gunn for the specific purpose of publishing books about the history and heritage of the counties of Caithness and Sutherland in the northern Highlands of Scotland, an area once known as the Pictish province of Catt.
About Academic Microforms Ltd
Academic Microforms limited was founded in 1981 by Michael and Jane Gunn as a dedicated specialist preservation microfilming service and micropublisher for the university, library and archive sector.
From the outset it has aimed to produce high-quality preservation microforms of medieval and post-medieval manuscripts, incunabula, early rare books and archive collections for research, preservation and publishing purposes. In 1996 these aims were broadened to include digital imaging services with output to CD-ROM/DVD.
